The Sahara as a Tourist

I never thought about visiting the countries that occupy the Sahara until I saw Sahara with Michael Palin. The variety of cities could make for a very interesting trip. CNN has an article covering some of the tour companies that specialize in the Sahara. One of the most interesting places to visit according to Michael Palin is Libya. The coastline has a lot of Roman ruins to walk through. Maybe someday I'll get there, and I hope some of you get there sooner.

The Latest Casualty of Global Warming

Something must not like natural syrups. First honey is threatened by an unknown die off of honey bees, and now Vermont maple sugar seems to be threatened by "global warming". What's next? Just to be safe, stock up on everything!
