I'm Calling Shenanigans
PCWorld has an article up claiming widescreen displays increase productivity by 76 work days a year... per person! No way. There are only 250 work days a year (50 weeks multiplied by 5 days), which means a magic 24" monitor allows you to do 15 more weeks of work a year according to the article. Maybe the workers in this study just felt appreciated for once and worked harder since someone finally gave them something better than an 18" monitor.
